Matt along with Nick Wuertz, Director of Refugee Services at LSI; Shelby Ridley, Homeless Support Services Director at Primary Health Care; and Angie Arthur, Executive Director at Polk County Continuum of Care, will be speaking about Polk County, homelessness, and refugees.

The Des Moines Public Library is a historic building in downtown Des Moines, Iowa, United States that was built in 1903. It was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977, and became a contributing property in the Civic Center Historic District in 1988.


Supervisor Matt McCoy represents Polk County's Fifth District, which includes the majority of Des Moines' south side, west side, and a portion of the north side. Matt previously served two terms in the Iowa House and most recently six terms in the Iowa Senate.
